Smiles
Some people ask "Why should I smile?" "Why be happy about going to work?" "What does it matter? No one cares anyways". To the people who think that way: Smiling and being cheerful is not only good for you, it is also good for those around you. You cannot tell me that your mood doesn't change for the better when you are around someone who is always smiling. So why not be that person to someone else? Why not help the people around you enjoy life more? Why not spread what is being given to you? Most people don't realize how truly blessed they are. Think about it. Think about how fortunate we are to be alive. Think about our families who loves us, and the fact that we never go hungry. Think about the homes we live in, the cars we drive, the clothes we wear, and the jobs that provide us with the money we need to make it all work. Where would we be without all of that? How can you have all of that and still keep a frown on your face? Even if we only had half of those things it should still be enough to make that smile last a lifetime. We are fortunate people, and as fortunate people we need to give what we can to those less fortunate. Even if it is just a kind word, or even a smile. A genuine smile can go a long way when it comes to broken or wounded hearts, that need a little joy to help them heal. ~ Proverbs 17:21-23

I love smiles! It's the first thing I notice when I approach a person.
